Imad Agi is a sustainable sanitation solution expert, speaker and entrepreneur. I have been involved in constructions, renovations, innovations, R&D, import export, trading, recycling, sanitations, water and waste management, been there and done that for more than 15 years! He has spoken and presented on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in more than 20 countries across the world, and yes, he does give a shit with issues on water, waste, sanitation and hygiene across the world!
There are estimated 2.5 billion people do not have access to sanitarily acceptable toilet systems and this lead to the dying of 5 million people from diarrheal disease, more than dying from HIV and malaria. Flushing toilets do not solve problems but instead create more problems such as drinking water shortage, sewage problems and pollution due to transportation of wastes, hence the huge demand of sustainable toilet system. So he invented a sustainable toilet technology to solve the world's pressing WASH issues.
He has traveled the world to share his knowledge and skills in waste, water, sanitation, hygiene and dignity by creatingawareness through social innovation and sustainable development through social business to eliminate poverty and at the same time save the environment.
